Rookie F1 Drivers Taking Part in the 2025 Season
Liam Lawson – Red Bull

In 2015 and 2016, Jack Doohan won the Australian Karting Championship, catching the eye of Red Bull who signed him as a junior driver in 2017. Jack Doohan quickly climbed the ranks, dominating F4 and finally facing F2 in 2020. Before the driver made his F2 debut in 2022, he decided to leave Red Bull and join the Alpine Academy. This decision was made by the junior driver so that he could take part in F1 practice sessions. Gabriel Bortoleto – Sauber
Gabriel Bortoleto started karting at the young age of 6 and after attaining success in 2018 and 2019 seasons of karting, the young driver jumped from karts to cars in 2020, when he raced in the Italian F4 and attained 5th position. His talent allowed him to move through the ranks quickly until finally, he signed with McLaren. Sauber soon to be Audi saw the Brazilian driver’s talent even before his F2 title was sealed and signed him up to drive alongside Nico Hulkenberg this F1 2025 season.
Isack Hadjar – Racing Bulls
