Red Bull debuted as a team in Formula One in the year 2005, although, the team’s origins date back to the grid in 1997. Over the years, the team changed hands several times. In the beginning the team belonged to three-time F1 World Champion, Jackie Stewart, who sold it to Ford after two seasons. Ford rebranded the team to Jaguar Racing, which after yielding little to no success was sold to Red Bull and rebranded as Red Bull Racing.
Over the years, Red Bull Racing has faced numerus ups and downs. After it was bestowed with the contractors’ title in 2023, fans were hopeful that the team will show similar results in the 2024 F1 championship. However, after a strong stat was Max Verstappen in the first place and Sergio Perez in the second, the team’s performance began to drop. This ca be attributed to the tension between Christian Horner, and Jos Verstappen as well as the exit of prominent names like Jonathan Wheatley and Adrian Newy. At the end of the season, the team said goodbye to Sergio Perez for disappointing performances and was replaced by Liam Lawson for the F1 2025 season. This year Red Bull will be taking the tracks by storm with Verstappen and Lawson in their arsenal.

Mercedes harbors a rich history in the world of Formula one with its heritage dating back to the 1930s. however, Mercedes first has its run with the championship in the year 1954. Over the years, the F1 team has seen many highs and lows. The biggest loss however, that Mercedes faced was when its long-term driver of 12 seasons, Lewis Hamilton left the team and moved to Ferrari for the 2025. The driver’s loss of confidence in the team solidified after Mercedes couldn’t keep up with the top teams during the Constructors’ Championship in 2024. This year however, things are looking promising for Mercedes as super talented driver Kimi Antonelli will be racing under the team’s banner this season.

New Zealander Bruce Maclaren funded the Bruce McLaren Motor Racing in 1963. Maclaren made their Grand Prix debate in the year 1966 as the team raced in Monaco. This made McLaren the second oldest Formula 1 team after Ferrari. In the 2023 season of F1, McLaren had quite a dramatic start and it seemed that the team was heading for the bottom spot in the Contractors’ Championship. However, from the British Grand Prix, the team made a solid comeback and achieved high positions in each race. This helped McLaren bag the fourth spot in the Constructors’ Championship. In the 2024 season of F1 McLaren redeemed itself by bagging first place in the Constrictors’ Championship. This year, McLaren is coming to the season with drivers Norris and Piastri in tow and one can only imagine what havoc these two will cause on the track.

However, at that point Alfa withdrew from the competition and extended its support to privates, Enzo Ferrari, and Ferrari’s team Scuderia Ferrari. The Aston Martin team's history dates back to the Jordan Grand Prix, which made its Formula One entry in the year 1991. Over the years, the team enjoyed four race wins and secured a respectable third place in the Constructors' Championship of year 1999. Unfortunately, financial difficulties eventually impacted their performance. This lead team owner Eddie Jordan to sell the team to the Midland Group in early 2005. The team was rebranded as Midland F1 Racing, and faced two challenging seasons at the back of the grid before owner Alex Shnaider sold it to Spyker Cars during the 2006 season. In 2007, Spyker F1 managed to score a point and even briefly led the European Grand Prix with driver Markus Winkelhock. However, once again financial troubles prompted Indian businessman Vijay Mallya to acquire the team for €88 million. After the acquisition the team was renamed Force India Formula 1 Team.
In the 2000s, a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll acquired the team. They were only able to purchase the team's assets, which meant that Force India was excluded from the championship and replaced by the new Force India Racing Point team. The new team was unable to retain any of the points that the old team had scored.
Before the 2019 season began, the Force India name was retired, and the team raced under the name Racing Point F1 Team. After Lawrence Stroll acquired a 16.7 percent stake in Aston Martin, the team underwent another rebranding and became known as Aston Martin F1 Team starting in 2021.
Team Aston Martin kicked off the 2023 season with a bang. Alonso demonstrated his skills by finishing on the podium in four of the first five races. All the while, Lance Stroll also contributed significantly. The driver accumulated a solid number of points that helped the team maintain second place in the Constructors' Championship.
However, as the season progressed, the team found it challenging to sustain this early success. Their car's development lagged behind that of their competitors, ultimately leading them to finish the championship in fifth place

The AlphaTauri team has its roots in Minardi, which participated in Formula One from the years 1985 to 2005. Despite having a dedicated fan base, the Italian team never reached the podium. AlphaTauri team only managed to achieve fourth place on three occasions. Owner Paul Stoddart requested that any potential buyers preserve Minardi's traditional base in Italy. And so, Red Bull GmbH agreed to keep the team's headquarters in Faenza until the year 2007 even though it chose to drop the Minardi name.
Although Red Bull dropped the Minardi name, they incorporated Italian into the team's new title to reflect their roots. Originally named Squadra Toro Rosso, it was later changed to Scuderia Toro Rosso, as "Scuderia" is a term often associated with Italian racing teams like Ferrari. Before the 2020 F1 season, Toro Rosso was rebranded as Scuderia AlphaTauri to promote Red Bull's fashion label of the same name. In 2024, the team raced under the name Visa Cash App RB. For the 2025 season, the Italian team will be called Racing Bulls, featuring Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda as the full-time drivers.

The current Williams team, which started in the year 1977, has its roots in the 1960s. In the 60s Frank Williams founded Frank Williams Racing Cars. The team faced challenges in achieving success, even though Canadian millionaire Walter Wolf became involved in 1976. This involvement resulted prompting a rebranding to Wolf-Williams Racing. Wolf later renamed the team Walter Wolf Racing, removing Williams from his managerial role. This shift allowed Frank to move to Didcot and rebuild his team as Williams Grand Prix Engineering. He co-founded the team with Patrick Head. Patrick Head held the position of Technical Director until 2004.
With the team encountering countless difficulties on the track, it was decided to sell Williams to the US investment group Dorilton Capital for €152 million in August of 2020. This sum was used to settle debts and included a pledge to keep the team's UK base as well as the Williams name intact. Although Claire Williams had the chance to stay on as Team Principal, she however chose to step down, after the Italian Grand Prix and Jost Capito was appointed as the new CEO in December 2020.
After attaining the seventh spot in the 2023 season, hopes for the 2024 season for Williams was high. However, Williams experienced a significant downturn in 2024. The drivers accumulated an astonishing €13 million in damages. The team only managed to score seventeen points which landed them in ninth place in the championship. Nevertheless, the team is preparing for the 2025 F1 season, bringing Carlos Sainz on board as a full-time driver alongside Alexander Albon.
