Lando Norris: 4

Oscar Piastri: 81

With its magnificent driver lineup, McLaren has very well announced that it will be wreaking havoc on the racetrack this 2025 season. Lando Norris, who has been a part of the team since 2019, when he made his 2019 debut, will be returning to F1 this season, with an extended multi-year contract in hand. Alongside Norris, we will also be seeing the Australian driver, Oscar Piastri, who is committed to the team until the end of 2026.

Ferrari

Charles Leclerc: 16

Lewis Hamilton: 44

Season 2025 of Formula One didn’t even need an enthralling race to have its banging start. In fact, the anticipation of the season rose even before the 2024 season of Formula One started. The world of motor racing erupted into buzz when Lewis Hamilton announced that he would switch to Ferrari in 2025. Hamilton ending his long partnership with Mercedes and switching to Ferrari marks the biggest driver market move of our times. The seven-time world champion will be replacing the Spanish driver, Carlos Sainz. Despite popular belief, Sainz has not taken the replacement to heart and said that he has no hard feelings about being replaced with Hamilton.

The other driver spot at Ferrari will be filled by the Monacan driver, Charles Leclerc. Since 2019, Charles Leclerc raced for the Scuderia and continues to pledge his allegiance to the squad. Leclerc signed a contract extension with Ferrari, solidifying his spot on the team for several more years.

Red Bull Racing

Max Verstappen: 1

Liam Lawson: 30

Locked in at Red Bull Racing for since long, with the world champion’s deal running till the end of the year 2018, many have speculated over the possible move of Max Verstappen to another team, possibly Mercedes, on account of the team's heavily growing interest in acquiring the renowned driver. However, despite the speculations, Max Verstappen has stated that he has no interest in changing teams.

The other sport at Red Bull will be taken by Liam Lawson. Prior to Liam, it was speculated that Sergio Perez would be acquiring the second driver spot when he signed a contract extension with Red Bull. However, later following the conclusion of a difficult campaign, Perez and Red Bull decided to part ways, effective immediately.

Mercedes

George Russell: 63

Andrea Kimi Antonelli: 12

This year will mark the fourth racing season of George Russell with the Silver Arrows. In the August of 2023, it was confirmed that Russell has signed a two-year deal with Mercedes, that will bind the driver with the team till the end of the next season. Even though a similar contract was announced for Hamilton, the driver activated a release option and announced his departure from Mercedes. Hamilton’s spot this season will be taken by long-term Mercedes protégé and 2024 F2 driver, Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

Aston Martin

Fernando Alonso: 14

Lance Stroll: 18

Despite the team struggling to maintain its score in Formula One, Fernando Alonso signed a deal with the squad that reaffirmed his belief in the team. Fernando Alonso will stay with the team at least till the end of 2026 and will be competing in this season of Formula One under the team’s banner. The second driver for the team will be Lance Stroll who has been incumbent in the lineup ever since he joined in 2019. He will be joining Fernando Alonso in the 2025 championship. This duo gave the team much needed hope this F1 season.

Alpine

Pierre Gasly: 10

Jack Doohan: 7

As Esteban Ocon sets to leave the team after his five-year stint with the squad, Alpine gears up to compete this season without its superstar. Following the loss of Ocon, Alpine resigned a multi-year extension with Pierre Gasly, who will be one of the competing F1 drivers this season. Alongside Gasly, reserve driver Jack Doohan will also be seen on the racetrack this season. One can only imagine how well this season will go for Alpine following the loss of Ocon.

Haas

Oliver Bearman: 87

Esteban Ocon: 31

Just like Alpine, Haas is also losing one of its F1 drivers. Hico Hulkenberg, who returned to the F1 grid in 2023 with Haas will be leaving the team to join Kick Sauber in 2025. At the end of the season 2025 of Formula One, Haas also lost another one of his drivers, Kevin Magnussen. This year Hass will be competing in the 2025 season with young F1 Driver, Oliver Berman alongside Esteban Ocon, who moved teams to Haas from Alpine.

Racing Bulls

Yuki Tsunoda: 22

Isack Hadjar: 6

prior to the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix, it was announced that Yuki Tsunoda would continue to race for the Racing Bulls in the 2025 season of Formula One. After an inconsistent season, Daniel Riccardo made way for Liam Lawson for the United States Grand Prix. Liam Lawson perfumed well enough and earned himself a promotion to Red Bull, teaming up with Max Verstappen in the 2025 season. Lawson’s promotion left a vacancy at Racing Bulls, a seat that was filled by Isack Hadjar, F2 runner-up who became the 19th driver to be promoted from Red Bull’s junior program to F1.

Williams

Alex Albon: 23

Carlos Sainz: 55

After signing a multiyear contract extension with the team, Alex Albon will be entering his fourth season as Williams F1 Driver in 2025. Alex Albon's contract will keep the F1 driver with Williams through to 2026. Teaming up with Alex Albon will be Carlos Sainz who signed a multi-year deal with the team. This deal ended months of speculation about the future of this F1 driver.

Kick Sauber

Nico Hulkenberg: 27

Gabriel Bortoleto: 5

Nico Hulkenberg will be entering the season 2025 of Formula One under the banner of Kick Sauber. After much convincing from Andreas Seidl, who has been replaced by Mattia Binotto, Nico Hulkenberg signed his future to the Audi F1 factory team. After signing a multi-year deal and following the Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend of 2024, it was confirmed by Kick Sauber, that rookie F1 driver Gabriel Bortoleto will be joining Nico Hulkenberg in the 2025 season of Formula One.
